Prof. Sotriffer
Prof. Dr. Christoph Sotriffer (born 1970) studied chemistry in Innsbruck (Austria) and Padua (Italy) from 1989-1995.
After obtaining his PhD from the University of Innsbruck in 1999, he received funding from the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) and was a postdoc ("Schrödinger fellow") at the University of California, San Diego, in Prof. McCammon's lab.
After being a postdoc from 2000 to 2006, he was a scientific assistant at Prof. Klebe's group at the Institute for Pharmaceutical Chemistry in Marburg, Germany. November 2006: habilitation in Marburg ("Development and application of computer-chemical methods in the field of drug design for investigating protein-ligand interactions").
W2 professorship in Würzburg as of December 1st 2006.
