Movies

Diagnostic chewing gums

The movie illustrates our rapid detection systems using our tongues as 24 / 7 available detector. Current platforms are running or in development for the detection of inflammatory conditions in the oral cavity (periodontal disease), Influenza viruses, Streptococcus pyogenes, and SARS-COV-2.

Ionic liquids

Salt design helps adapting the physical properties of drug substances according to biopharmaceutical needs. Along these lines, ionic liquids provide some exceptional features allowing exciting expansion of the physical space for drug substances and without modifying their molecular structure. The movie highlights these advantages and how these are translated into application in our lab.

Bile colloids

Gastrointestinal passage and bioavailability of poorly water soluble drugs is a formidable challenge in the development of medication. This movie introduces this complexity and highlights our research interests along these lines.

Carbon monoxide

This movie shows our translational ambition for carbon monoxide for oral and trans-cutaneous use.
