Bile Is a Selective Elevator for Mucosal Mechanics and Transport
03.11.2023Simon Hanio & team detailed how bile transiently alters mucosal biomechanics and how it promotes transports through mucus. By combining readouts from NMR, Brillouin Microscopy, Differential dynamic microscopy, and others methods, they defined the critical role of bile in the mucus transport drugs that interact with bile. Congratulations on this interdisciplinary team effort!
